We will not sell, rent, or trade information about our donors. We may collect and use information about our donors for purposes related to the New Mexico Land Conservancy's mission statement and goals, and in particular:
- To maintain a record of our donors;
- To create, update and maintain a record of our e-newsletter and newsletter memberships;
- To publish press releases regarding our work as a matter of public interest.
It is the policy of the New Mexico Land Conservancy to obtain landowner approval prior to disbursing specific information about their land conservation projects.

Welcome to the Web site (“Site”) of New Mexico Land Conservancy (“NMLC”). The New Mexico Land Conservancy is committed to protecting your privacy when you use our Site. What Personally Identifiable Information of Yours is Collected?
This means information that tells us something about who you are, such as your name, phone number, email address, or mailing address. We do not retain your credit card number (if you are using a credit card to make a donation).
We collect and store statistical information about users visiting our sites: the name of the domain from which you access the Internet (for example: AOL, Earthlink, etc.); the date and time you access our site; and the Internet address of the web site from which you may have linked directly to our site.
We have a registered secured security certificate on file, therefore protecting any information you provide to us.

Tax Status
The New Mexico Land Conservancy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and is organized with a certification of Good Standing and Compliance under the laws of the State of New Mexico and is tax-exempt.
Easement donations and monetary contributions to the New Mexico Land Conservancy may be tax deductible in accordance to IRS rules and regulations.
The Staff and Board of Directors cannot provide financial, tax or legal advice and recommends that you speak with a qualified financial or legal advisor when planning a contribution to our organization.
