Honorary or Memorial Gift Contributions

Consider the ultimate gift by designating NMLC as the charity of choice to honor the remembrance, recognition, or/and celebration of family or friends.

We will send you a letter of recognition (for tax purposes) and a beautiful card will be sent in your name (to whom you specify) identifying you and your honorary contribution.

Memorial Gift

You may also consider designating a memorial gift in your will to NMLC with a specified amount or percentage to endow a fund in your name or a loved one. The income from this memorial fund can be designated either for a specific purpose or for general purposes.

Your gift will continue into perpetuity for the preservation and protection of New Mexico's land heritage.

Sample Will Designation:

I give to the New Mexico Land Conservancy (NMLC), a non-profit organization located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, (Tax Id # 06-1648104) the sum of $___________ (or _____% of my estate; or the property described herein) the same to be known as “The _______________ Memorial Fund.” The income therefore shall be used for its general purpose or for _______________ (identify specific purpose). If, in the opinion of the trustees or their successors, the need for funds for the specified purpose described above no longer exists at some future date, the trustees or their successors are authorized to use these funds in the best interest of the New Mexico Land Conservancy.
