Chair:   Sayre T. Gerhart

Sayre Gerhart is an architect who has been active in land conservation and land use planning issues for many years. She served as councilor and Mayor Pro Tem for the Village of Corrales, where she initiated, funded and implemented projects focused on land use and land preservation of farmland and wildlife habitat, public safety, housing issues, historic preservation of buildings, economic development, water quality and trail development.  READ MORE

Vice-Chair:   Lawrance Rael

Lawrence is a community leader who has served on the boards of numerous charitable organizations, task forces, and committees.  Lawrence holds a B.A. in Sociology and a M.A. in Public Administration from the University of New Mexico.  He currently lives with his family in Los Ranchos, NM.  READ MORE

Claudette Horn , a native of Albuquerque, is an Environmental Manager at PNM Resources. She has more than 20 years of experience in environmental management and regulatory compliance for electric and gas utility operations and construction.  READ MORE

Alan has 30-years of commercial banking experience and worked with property owners in Southwest Colorado on banking solutions involving conservation easements.  READ MORE

Dale Armstrong

Dale Armstrong was born and raised on a ranch in Quemado, NM. While attending San Juan College, he worked in a plumbing shop. Over the past 25 years, he has grown TLC Plumbing & Utility from a one-man business to one of the premier service and construction companies in the state with over 300 employees. He and his wife Gail have four children and operate a cattle ranch in Magdalena.  READ MORE

Tessa Davidson

Tessa is a fourth-generation New Mexican from a ranching family in southwestern New Mexico. She is the founding member of the Davidson Law Firm where the majority of her law practice focuses on water law issues.   READ MORE

Cullen Hallmark

Cullen is an attorney with Sommer, Udall, Sutin, Hardwick & Hyatt, P.C. in Santa Fe. He is an experienced cyclist, backpacker, river runner, cross-country skier, and gardener. He has been a member of the Quivira Coalition for more than ten years, and manages its Red Canyon Reserve in Socorro County, New Mexico.   READ MORE

John, a native of Taos, is an attorney practicing with the firm of Cuddy & McCarthy, LLP, in Santa Fe. He is Past President of the New Mexico State Bar and the New Mexico Bar Foundation and has extensive experience on the boards of several non-profit organizations.  READ MORE

Sid Goodloe

For 55 years, Sid Goodloe has been owner-operator of the Carrizo Valley Ranch, 16 miles north of Capitan, New Mexico. Mr. Goodloe’s interests range far beyond his own ranch.   READ MORE

Elizabeth Richardson

Elizabeth worked for Colorado Open Lands, a statewide land trust, for 10 years and served on the Board of the Colorado Coalition of Land Trusts for 12. After moving, she continues to be actively involved by volunteering for the Southern California Council of Land Trusts.  READ MORE

Dr. Jack Wright

Jack has been Professor of Geography at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces since 1990. He served on the NMLC Board of Directors from 2002 to 2012, and was Chair for nine years. Jack has consulted in the land trust field for 30 years and has designed more than 100 conservation easements in New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.  READ MORE
